The Winged Post is the official student newspaper, and it is distributed free of cost to students. The Talon is the official yearbook and is sold to the student body.

The Winged Post and Talon staff will publish online (TALONWP) and in print features, editorials, news and sports in an unbiased and professional manner and The Post serves as a public forum for the students of The Harker Upper School. Editorials are the official opinions of The Winged Post. Opinions and letters are the personal viewpoints of the writers and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of The Winged Post or Talon. Student editors and staff make all content decisions. The content of The Winged Post and Talon in no way reflects the official policy of The Harker School. The opinions expressed in these publications reflect those of the student writers and not the Harker board, administration, faculty, or advisor.

Outside advertisements are accepted in The Post. However, The Winged Post reserves the right to deny any ad. Letters to the Editor may be submitted to Manzanita 70 or emailed to wingedpost@harker.org and must be signed, legible, and concise. The staff reserves the right to edit letters to conform to Post style. Baseless accusations, insults, libelous statement, obscenity, and letters, which call for a disruption of the school day, will not be considered for publication. Letters sent to The Post will be published at the discretion of the editorial staff. Any article marked with a (WP) are republished from The Winged Post.
